This is a Request for Proposal for construction services. The USDA, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Southeast Area (SEA) Jamie Whitten Delta States Research Center (JWDSRC), located in Stoneville, MS., has a requirement for refurbishing and upgrading the existing electrical distribution in the Hatchery area. The work includes but is not limited to: The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, and performing all work in strict accordance with the specifications for refurbishing and upgrading the existing electrical distribution in the Hatchery area. The project is located at the USDA-ARS-SEA, JWDSRC, 141 Experiment Station Road, Stoneville, MS. 38776. The contractor shall provide a detailed technical proposal and detailed cost breakdown for the entire project. The solicitation number is 12405B25R0007 and is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). The NAICS code is 238210 with a size standard of $19.0 M. Contractors shall not directly contact the facility to discuss this requirement. During the solicitation phase, contractors will be provided the opportunity for a site visit and to ask any relevant questions. Contractors are required to be actively registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to submitting a proposal. You can register on- line at www.sam.gov. Please refer to Section L.6 (b) of the attached Clauses and Provisions for site visit information. Period of Performance 180 calendar days after Notice to Proceed All questions pertaining to this solicitation, including questions that arise during the site visit, must be submitted to huron.virden@usda.gov by February 03, 2025. Questions that are not submitted in writing or that are not submitted by February 03, 2025, may not receive a response. Questions/answers discussed at the site visit will not be binding on the resultant contract unless submitted in writing and incorporated into the solicitation by amendment.
