Project Name: SRS Stoneville Sewer Main Repair Magnitude: In accordance with FAR 36.204 the magnitude of this project is: Less than $25,000. Scope of Work: Te goal of this project is to repair a failed connection at the sewer main of the Southern Research Stations campus in Stoneville, MS. Address: Center for Bottomland Hardwoods Research, 432 Stoneville Rd, Stoneville, MS, 38776. Following all applicable codes and regulations, the contractor shall provide all labor and materials necessary to: - Excavate the sewer pipe connection to the catch basin - Retap catch basin with PVC - Reconnect sewer pipe to catch basin - Refill and compact excavated material to prevent settlement - Repair ground surface (seed and mulch) Period of Performance: 30 days after receiving the notice to proceed. Site Visit: A site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, 12/3/2024 at 09:00 AM CST. An amendment with responses from any RFI's will be sent after the due date, if any. For additional information, see page #22 of 24 of the solicitation document. Submittal Method: All proposals will be emailed to: Dennis.koba@usda.gov. Bid Deadline: Tuesday, 12/10/2024, 3:00 PM CST. Bid Opening Date: Tuesday, 12/10/2024, 3:30 PM CST (30 mins after bid closing). For additional information, see page #24 of 24 of the solicitation document. Award of Contract: One award will be made from this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Contractors must submit pricing for all items on the schedule of items. Award will be made to the lowest priced, responsible offeror who is responsive to the solicitation.
