Description The project RIC-CR11-9.97 consists of furnishing and installing an 18' x 6' concrete box culvert and wingwalls on bedding prepared by others on Baseline Road in Bloominggrove Township, Richland County, Ohio. OPWC Funded Project No paper bids will be accepted. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties making the same and all persons interested therein, and be accompanied, pursuant to Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code, by a satisfactory BID GUARANTY: either a BID BOND or a BID AND PERFORMANCE PAYMENT BOND executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount for each individual proposal, or by a certified check, cashier's check, or a letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount for each individual proposal, payable to Richland County Board of Commissioners as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into. The Owner of the project is the Richland County Board of Commissioners. SPECIAL CONDITIONS - It is anticipated that the Richland County Road Superintendent will be ready for culvert and wingwalls to be placed on or about April 15, 2025. Work shall include furnishing and installing culvert and wingwalls on bedding to be prepared by others. Backfilling and grading work will be performed by others. Only ODOT pre-qualified contractors for Work Type 20, Level One Bridge, are eligible to submit bids for this project. Pre-qualification must be in force at the time of the bid, at the time of the award, and through the life of the construction contract. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the prevailing wage rates to be paid under the contract. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
