Renovation of an educational facility in Lake Villa, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Roof Overlay at Lakes Community High School Performance, Labor and Material Payment Bonds, each equal to 100-percent of the Contract Amount, and an acceptable Certificate of Insurance, will be required from successful Bidder. Bidders must comply with Illinois Complied Statutes, 820 ILCS 130/1-12, requiring the payment of prevailing wage rates to laborers, workmen and mechanics working on publicly-funded projects. If during the time period of Work, these rates change, Contractor shall be responsible for additional costs without any change to the contract amount. Contract will be subject to the requirements of the Equal Employment Practices Commission and the Illinois Human Rights Act (HRA) Illinois Revised Statute, Ch. 69, Par. 1-101, et. seq.aEUR (Including the requirement that every party to a public contract shall have adopted written sexual harassment policies, P.A. 87-1257). Bids will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60-days after submission.
