Parking Lot Improvements at Mary C. Burke School Estimated Cost $375,000 Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. The scope of work includes a base bid for park lot improvements. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive, eligible and responsible bidder. The scope of work for parking lot improvements includes approximately 3,500 square yards of parking lot asphalt reclamation, coarse grading, fine grading and compaction, 725 tons of binder and top course asphalt paving, tack coat, seal coat, pavement markings, hot mix asphalt curbing, granite curbing, and concrete sidewalk and ramps. The scope also includes construction of a raingarden/bioretention for stormwater runoff of the parking lot, including but not limited to, earthwork, rain guardian turret basin assembly, inlet, screen, underdrain, standpipe, overflow, and connection to an existing drain manhole. Landscape improvements include removal of trees, removal of stumps, loam and seeding, and furnishing deciduous trees and shrubs. The scope also includes erosion and sedimentation control, environmental protection measures, and relocation of existing signs and lighting. The required contract completion date is June 15, 2025.
