The County of Darlington, South Carolina, is seeking the invaluable expertise of qualified firms to submit proposals for a crucial chiller and boiler replacement project at the Darlington County Government Building, located at 1 Public Square, Darlington, South Carolina. The building, constructed in 1964, has a total area of 41,324 square feet, approximately 8,100 square feet per floor. SCOPE OF WORK The current system uses a chiller to produce chilled water for cooling and a boiler to heat water for heating, circulating water through the building's piping system. Each office has fan coil units for cooling and heating throughout the building. The project includes removing and replacing one boiler, one chiller, and all fan coil units. The new system will be integrated into the existing chilled water piping. All proposals must include a detailed plan for replacing the chiller and boiler at the Darlington County Government Building. Proposals should outline all costs associated with labor, equipment, materials, permits, fees, and the start-up and commissioning of the new equipment.
