Solicitation Id: BTS-01 Route : Non-hwy Limit : Master Contract: Qv Inspection Precast Concrete and Prefabricated Metal County : Statewide Assistance is Needed With Annual Quality Verification (Qv) Inspection and Process Evaluation of Commercial Facilities That Produce Precast Concrete and Metal Drainage Products. Verify Compliance With Wisdot and Industry Certification Program Standards Regarding Fabrication of Products, Recordkeeping, Certification of Quality Control (Qc) Testing Personnel, Qc Testing Procedures and Frequency, and Equipment Calibration. Perform Qv Inspections of Facilities on or Applying for Placement on the Department's Lists of Approved Vendors Precast Products and Corrugated Metal Drainage Products. Products Produced at These Facilities Include Precast Concrete Pipe, Manholes, Inlets, Catch Basins, Box Culverts, Apron Endwalls, Wall Panels, Temporary Barriers, Masonry Block, Various Types of Metal Pipe and Appurtenant Elements, and Other Related Items. Facilities Are Located Throughout Wisconsin and Nearby States. Perform Compressive Strength and Water Absorption Testing Per Astm C140 and Freeze and Thaw Testing Per Astm C1262 on Dry Cast Block Products Obtained From the Facilities During Qv Inspections. This Includes Six Randomly Selected Full Size Block Samples Per Plant, Per Concrete Mix.
