The Project includes the following Work: BULK FILL STATION LS BOOSTER PUMP STATION LS SYSTEM INTEGRATION LS WATERLINES, BORED AND/OR IN PLACE, SIZES 2" THRU 12" 149,146 LNFT GATE VALVE W/BOX, SIZES 4" THRU 12" 371 EACH 1" HDPE SERVICE LINE, BORED AND/OR IN PLACE 22,675 LNFT 5-1/4" FIRE HYDRANT ASSEMBLY 98 EACH 5/8" WATER METER W/RESIDENTIAL SERVICE ASSEMBLY 506 EACH REMOVE AND REPLACE EXISTING METER 123 EACH REMOVE AND REPLACE SURFACING, GRAVEL 9,893 SQYD REMOVE AND REPLACE SURFACING, ASPHALT 987 SQYD REMOVE AND REPLACE SURFACING, CONCRETE 166 SQYD ADD ALTERNATES 1-6 FOR ADDITIONAL WATERLINE AND WATER METER ASSEMBLIES THROUGHOUT LINN VALLEY A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of five percent of Bidder's maximum Bid price (determined by adding the base bid and all alternates) and in the form of a Bid bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. Such Bid bond will be issued in the form included in the Bidding Documents. Bid security must be at least 5% of the Bidder's maximum Bid price. Pre-bid Site Visit and Testing by Bidders: The Contractor is encouraged to review the instructions provided in Article 5 of the Instructions to Bidders as it pertains to site exploration and testing. The City may approve, as indicated in Article 5. Bidders to access the Project site and conduct such investigations, explorations and tests as Bidder deems necessary for preparing and submitting a Bid. Article 5.04.B. of the Instructions to Bidders provides Owner contact information for which the prospective Bidder must contact to schedule a pre-bid site visit. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
