Locations: Town of Signal Mountain, Library 1114 James Blvd., Signal Mountain, TN 37377 Town of Signal Mountain, Town Hall 1111 Ridgeway Ave., Signal Mountain, TN 37377 The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to complete the siding repairs, which will include the following: -Siding Repair/Replacement: o Remove and replace damaged sections of siding that cannot be repaired (wood, vinyl, aluminum, etc.). o Repair or replace trim, fascia, or soffits as needed. o Ensure that replacement siding matches existing in terms of color, texture, and type, unless otherwise specified. o Re-seal seams and joints to prevent water intrusion. o Address any structural issues identified in the site inspection (e.g., repair of wooden framing, insulation replacement). - Surface Preparation: o Clean existing siding surfaces to remove dirt, mold, or debris. o Sand or scrape areas with peeling paint or damaged finishes. o Apply primer and/or matching paint if required for aesthetic consistency. o Ensure that all surfaces are prepped adequately before installation of new siding. - Weatherproofing and Insulation: o Replace or install new weather-resistant barriers (e.g., house wrap, vapor barriers). o Ensure proper insulation is installed or replaced where needed to improve energy efficiency. o Install flashing around windows, doors, and other openings to direct water away from the siding
