The Wetzel County Solid Waste Authority is requesting bids for a free-standing building to be installed on our property located at 238 North Street, New Martinsville, West Virginia. The following are requirements that are the minimum to be included in the bid: 30' width x 80' length x 12' inside height pole building Roof system: 4' o/c trusses Pitch: 4/12 loading: 30-5-5 standard Roofing type: 28 Gauge Painted Steel (Color to be determined)Overhangs: 12" Boxed on 2-eaves & 2 gables (Color to be determined) soffit and fascia Underlayment: 2758 square foot of Single Bubble on Roof Walls: 8' o/c TR Laminated load bearing columns with uplift protection Siding: 28 Gauge Painted Steel (Color to be determined) Trim (Color to be determined) 2-36" Steel Flush Entry Door(s)3- 20' x 10' Framed Opening(s)Optional inclusion of following requests: Hang 6" continuous gutters and minimum of 6 downspouts (3 each side)Additional Requirements: Clean up and removal of all waste. Proof of Insurance in the amount of $1,000,000,000 along with naming Wetzel County Solid Waste Authority as a named insured from claims set forth below which may arise out of or result from the Contractor's execution of the work, whether such execution be by himself or by any subcontractor or by anyone directly or indirectly employed by any of them and or by anyone for whose acts any of they may be liable. Proof of West Virginia workers compensation and unemployment payments are up to date and proof of OSHA worker protection requirements. Federal and state tax payments are up to date. Reference from three prior successful projects, which shall include Name, address, and description of project. Projected timeline of project and completion date. Suggested project time of (60 days from the awarding of the contract, depending upon weather as agreed to by both parties). The final award will be made by the Authority after reviewing and verifying the bids submitted meet the requirements of the qualified bidders.
