Renovation of an educational facility in Nelsonville, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Project consists of all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the proper completion of the Tri-County Career Center HVAC Replacements 2024-2025, (referred to as the "Project"), all in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by the Design Professional. The work for which bids are solicited for the Project will be completed sixty days from the date of execution of the contract with the successful bidder, or as detailed in the schedule information included with the Contract Documents. A. The Project consists of the following contract for the work on the Project: 1. General trades/HVAC ESTIMATE OF COST A. The total estimated construction cost for the work for which bids are being solicited at this time 15: 1. Base Bid-$800,000.00, 2. Substantial Completion Date: August 1, 2025 Contract Bond: The successful Bidder who, as a Bid Guaranty, submits a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to 10% of the bid, shall fumish a Contract Bond in the form Contract Bond included in the Bid Documents in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Sum. The bond must be issued by a surety company authorized by the Ohio Department of Insurance to transact business in the State of Ohio and acceptable to the Owner. The bond must be issued by a surety capable of demonstrating a record of competent underwriting, efficient management.
