Renovation of a mixed-use development in Ola, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development; and municipal facility.
Any bid received after the closing time will be returned unopened. Bids will be required and are to be broken down as follows: A. One Lump Sum Bid for all buildings within the Public Housing Authority complexes as listed in Par. B; Approximately 676 squares. B. Individual Lump Sum Bids for each of the following: 1. Donald Hood Apartment complex: eleven (11) buildings excluding the storage building by the Maintenance Shop; Approximately 495 squares. 2. East End Apartment complex:three (3) buildings excluding the gazebo and the storage buildings;Approximately 147 squares. 3. Administration Building: Approximately 34 squares. The re-roofing project includes, but is not limited to, removal of all existing roofing and felt, dripedges, turbine vents, pipe jackflashing, furnace vent caps and storm collars, step flashing, and replacement of each. No metalfascia or gutter work is needed. No metal fascia or gutter work is needed. Bid packets may be mailed provided bidder advances a cashier's check or money order in the amount of $25.00 per set for shipping andhandling in addition to the deposit and if they do not have an account with a package shipping company. All Bidders are required to visit the project sites prior to submitting a bid and verify their site visit with the Housing Authority. All bids must be submitted on forms included in the specifications, submitted in duplicate and in a sealed envelope plainly marked to show the name and address of the bidder, contract job number, and date and time of bid opening. Bidders are required to have an Arkansas Contractor's License in accordance with Arkansas State Statute 71-701 et seq. A Bid Guarantee in anamount equal to five (5) percent of the bid. The Bid Guarantee can be in the form of a certified check made payable to the PHA; a U.S.Government Bond endorsed to the PHA; or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder; and The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish an Arkansas Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100 percent ofthe Contract Bid for contracts that exceed $50,000.00, in accordance to Arkansas State Statute18-44-503. The PHA reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the PHA.
