The City of Provo, Utah is seeking to hire a qualified and motivated firm to provide Construction Manager AtRisk services for the design of an expansion to the existing Commercial Terminal building to be located at 1331 Sky Way, Provo, Utah 84601. Phase 1 of the Terminal Expansion is projected to be approximately 34,000 square feet. The expansion will contain an expansion to the ticketing and queuing areas for passengers, as well as an expanded area for outgoing baggage handling and distribution, including a reconfiguration and installation of new baggage conveyors. Phase 2 of the Terminal Expansion is projected to be approximately 200,000 square feet. The expansion includes additional secure hold room space for an additional six aircraft departure gates, expansion of the TSA passenger screening area, an international terminal, expansion and reconfiguration of the inbound baggage handling system, additional office space for tenants and TSA, reconfiguration of the terminal loop road, and the relocation of the rental car parking lot. Provo City reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to delay or postpone Phase 2 construction should sufficient funding not be secured. Provo City projects a total construction budget for phase 1 of approximately $16,000,000 million. The construction budget for phase 2 is approximately $82,000,000. The City of Provo will administer the design, funding, construction, maintenance, and operation of the facility. Portions of the Project are being funded by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) which will require adherence to federal funding guidelines as required by the FAA. The City anticipates using a Construction Manager At-Risk (CMAR) management approach for this Project and expects to select the CMAR prior to the Schematic Design Phase (30% Design
