This announcement constitutes a Sources Sought Notice (market survey). This is not a request for proposal (RFP). This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Government will not pay for any cost incurred in responding to this announcement. Any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought synopsis shall be voluntary. This Sources Sought Notice is for Market Research purposes only. The information submitted in response to the Sources Sought Notice will not be utilized to determine vendor standing in any future/potential RFP, nor will it be utilized to determine if a vendor is qualified to submit an RFP for any future/potential requirement. The notice and the information received shall not be used to determine how well respondents can perform a requirement, which can only be evaluated in response to a solicitation. Respondents will not receive formal notification or feedback on any information submitted in this Sources Sought Notice. All future proposed submissions/solicitation requirements solicited on a Government Point of Entry (GPE) will be evaluated independently of any information submitted in response to this Sources Sought Notice. No respondents will be provided information on solicitations issued on a Government Point of Entry based on this Sources Sought Notice. The Miami Veterans Affairs Medical Center (MVAMC) located at 1201 NW 16th St, Miami, FL 33125, has a potential requirement for Renovate Community Living Center (CLC) - 1st & 2nd Floor, to NAICS 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with size standard of $45.0M. Potential Sources shall provide their Capability Statement and it must be clear, concise, and complete. Please confirm if you can provide Construction Services for the proposed work which will include the removal of existing floor, wall, and ceiling finishes, and replace them with new updated finishes. Also, replacing built-in lockers in the resident's rooms, existing Nurse Station on both floors, 1 and 2, and repainting/refinishing all doors and door frames. The Limitations on Subcontracting under 13 CFR 125.6 and VAAR 852.219-75 apply to this acquisition. Please confirm that you can meet the Limitations of Subcontracting. 13 CFR 125.6(a)(1) states: "In the case of a contract for services (except construction), it will not pay more than 50% of the amount paid by the government to it, to firms that are not similarly situated. Any work that a similarly situated subcontractor further subcontracts will count towards the 50% subcontract amount that cannot be exceeded." Please confirm and explain how your company will be able to comply with the Limitations on Subcontracting in accordance with 13 CFR 125.6. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
