Site work and new construction of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Owensboro, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the construction of a 23,500-square-foot elderly care / assisted living facility; and for site work for a elderly care / assisted living facility.

The Design-Build Contractor (Contractor) will be responsible for the design and construction of a new (+/-) 23,500 SF Senior Center facility. The facility will be located on 8 acres of property located at 3001 West 2nd St in Owensboro Kentucky. a. This facility will consist of a new (+/-) 23,500 SF building with Vestibule, office reception area, directors office, conference room, managers office, finance directors office, work room, admin area, staff break area, auditorium, gift shop, billiards room, kitchen, Meals on Wheels package room, Meals on Wheels storage room, custodian, storage rooms, lounge/social space, exercise rooms, class/activity rooms, game room, arts & crafts room, chapel, health/wellness room, restrooms, mechanical/electrical rooms. This project will also consist of a parking lot with 85 regular spaces, 6 handicap spaces and 2 loading spaces. Liquidated Damages $7,000.00 per calendar day The contractor will be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond. Bond shall be furnished within ten (10) working days after receipt of award notification. The contractor will be required to furnish a Payment Bond, within ten (10) working days after receipt of award notification, in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount to assure payment as required by any or all persons supplying labor and material in the execution of the work provided herein. Question Deadline 01/23/2025 Each bid must be accompanied by cash, Cashier's Check, or a Bid Bond duly executed by the bidder as principal and having as surely thereon a surety company approved by the City, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid. Such checks will be returned promptly after the City and the accepted bidder have executed the contract, or if no award has been made within ninety (90) days after the date of the opening of bids, upon demand of the bidder any time thereafter, as long as he has not been notified of the acceptance of his bid.
