Completed plans call for the construction of a 6,781-square-foot municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project consists of: Construction of a new single-story 6,781 SF building at the address listed below, as shown in Construction Documents prepared by Collaborative Design Architects. Site work includes all earthwork, concrete curb and gutter, flat concrete work, footing, foundation for building and asphalt paving, parking lot striping, and exterior lighting. Also included is all landscape work. Building structure is to be made of structural wood columns, beams, and trusses. Exterior wall construction to be wood stud framed with steel siding, steel panels, and an aluminum panel system. Roof systems to be metal standing seam w/ aluminum gutters and snow fence. Exterior windows and storefront system to be extruded anodized aluminum. Interior doors to be wood and aluminum with metal jambs. Interior work includes Gypsum board wall assemblies with wood framing, carpet tile flooring, painting, acoustical ceiling system, HVAC, electrical, plumbing. Prior to any bidder receiving Drawings or Specifications, it will be necessary that the person or company bidding have on file with the Collaborative Design Architects a copy of their current Montana contractor's license, if required to be licensed, covering the type of work to be done and a statement from their Surety Company evidencing bond ability to the amount of the contract. Contractors and any of the Contractor's subcontractors bidding or doing work on this project must be registered with the Montana Department of Labor and Industry (DLI). All laborers and mechanics employed by Contractor or subcontractors in performance of the construction work shall be paid wages at rates as may be required by the laws of Montana Prevailing Wage Rates & Davis Bacon (Higher of the two). The Contractor must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. The successful bidder, simultaneously with the execution of the Contract Agreement, will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, both bearing original signatures, upon the forms provided along with the Specifications. The performance and payments bonds shall be for an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum. The successful bidder will also furnish a 5% bid bond. These bonds shall be secured from a company that meets the requirements specified in the requisite forms and the Supplementary General Conditions A201 document. This project will be partially funded with federal funds from the United States Department of Commerce and Economic Development Administration and, therefore, is subject to the federal laws and regulations associated with that program. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled time for the public opening of bids as identified in this Invitation to Bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals received, to waive informalities, to postpone the award of the contract for a period of not to exceed sixty (60) days, and to accept the lowest responsive and responsible bid which is in the best interest of the Owner.
