Procurement, Contracts and Materials Management is seeking Responsive Responsible Proposers to submit Proposals for oil/gas produced water treatment equipment that can treat highly contaminated industrial wastewater from oil/gas extraction and produce irrigation-grade water. Feed stream Oil/gas produced water The equipment must be able to treat oil/gas produced water, directly from the well. Flow rate 250 kg/hr The equipment must meet treatment target of at least 250 kg/hr of produced water. Water recovery 80% The equipment must recover at least 80% of the inlet water mass in clean water. Clean water quality Irrigation grade 99.9% clean water, local standards for irrigation water quality. Water cost Below $0.70/bbl The levelized cost of treated water must meet a cost target of no more than $0.70/barrel of clean water, including CapEx, OpEx, and all other costs over the life of the plant. Discharge Zero liquid discharge The equipment must be capable of zero liquid discharge (ZLD) operation. Footprint Containerized The equipment footprint must not exceed that of a 10-ft container and must be portable. Fouling management Complete mitigation The equipment must be able to operate free of fouling or have real-time in-situ fouling mitigation. Energy Mixed The equipment should primarily operate with an energy source most widely available at oil/gas production sites, i.e. natural gas, associate gas, or similar Site operation - The equipment must be a "drop-in" option for an existing operation, i.e., have connection to receive feedstock, fuel/electricity, and have minimal to no impact on site operation.
