Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Shreveport, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.
NOTE: LOUISIANA LICENSED CONTRACTOR REQUIRED FOR THIS PROJECT WITH AMAJOR CLASSIFICATION AS AN GENERAL CONTRACTOR. BID SECURITY equal to five percent (5%) of the Total Bid shall be in the form of a bid bond,certified check or cashiers check as prescribed by LA RS 38:2218 must be attached to and made apart of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. For this project, Liquidated Damages will apply in the amount of five-hundred dollars ($500.00) per day for each consecutive calendar day which the work is not completed, beginning with the first day beyond the established completion date of July 31. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after actual date of the opening thereof. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The Caddo Parish School Board desires that Bidders make a good faith effort to utilize 25% small and economically disadvantaged businesses. Attendance at the pre-bid conferenceby an officer, estimator or other individual knowledgeable with preparing the bid, is MANDATORY and will be considered a pre-condition for bidder eligibility.
