Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Shreveport, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.
BID SECURITY equal to five percent (5%) of the Total Bid shall be in the form of a bid bond,certified check or cashiers check as prescribed by LA RS 38:2218 must be attached to and made apart of the bid. If a bid bond is provided it shall be on the provided form and only on the providedform. Bid bonds must be written by a qualified company licensed to do business in Louisiana.The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond written by a companylicensed to do business in Louisiana in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of thecontract amount.For this project, Liquidated Damages will apply in the amount of five-hundred dollars ($500.00) perday for each consecutive calendar day which the work is not completed, beginning with the first daybeyond the established completion date of July 31. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after actual date of the openingthereof.The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.The Caddo Parish School Board desires that Bidders make a good faith effort to utilize 25% smalland economically disadvantaged businesses
