A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** This project is a pilot project authorized by SB 160, Section 34, in which seven percent (7%) of the contractors for the project are DBEs. Non-DBE contractors may achieve the seven percent (7%) by hiring DBE firms as subcontractors or having their subcontractors hire DBE firms. All DBE firms must be registered with either the Delaware Department of Transportation or the Delaware Office of Supplier Diversity. The percentage requirement and the registration requirements will remain in place for the length of the project. The selected project, New Castle County Vocational Technical School District's Hodgson Vo-Tech, includes a cooperative program in which students from Vocational Technical schools will work on the project in compliance with 19 Del.
