Renovation of a fire / police facility in Weare, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The Town of Weare is Soliciting Proposals to Replace Existing Backup Generator with a New 14 KW Backup Generator at the South Fire Station. Proposal Must Include: o 1- 14 KW Air Cooled Propane Generator with Enclosure (Generac, Kohler, Briggs & Stratton or equivalent models will be considered) o 1- 100-A Automatic Transfer Switch o 1- 12 Volt Battery o 1- Carburetor Heater o 1- Gas Flex Connector o 1- E-Stop o 5 Year Warranty Options: o ATS Surge Protector o Wireless Monitoring System w/Extender Work to include: o Installation of new generator on a concrete pad and associated equipment at the South Weare Fire Station o Remove and replace all existing generator control wiring. o Install new transfer switch o Refeed existing back-up panel from main panel. o The contractor will be responsible for permitting and all materials to provide a code compliant system. o Removal and disposal of existing generator and all project related material and broom clean work area. Town of Weare will provide; o Clear workspace. o Propane tank and connection. Contractors must provide all necessary insurance certificates required by the Town. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
