The Town ofMarana is seeking qualified vendors to perform resurfacing, and repair of the existing Gladden Farms Community Park Splash Pad located at Gladden Farms Community Park, 12205 N Tangerine Farms Road, Marana, AZ 85653. The Town seeks approximately 5,025 SF of a high-quality, UV-stabilized acrylic lace surface material designed for high impact wet environments, extreme heat, and dry off-seasons. The surface should feature a textured finish for slip resistance and a single color, heat reflective, paint ofthe Towns choosing. Final Date for Inquiries (3:00 p.m.), January 16, 2025 A. Materials Acrylic Lace Surface: provide 5,025 SF of a high-quality, UV-stabilized acrylic material designed for high impact wet environments, extreme heat, and dry off-seasons. The surface should feature a textured finish for slip resistance and a single color, heat reflective, paint of the Town's choosing. B. Preparation: Remove the existing surface materials of approximately 5,025 SF of rubber EPDM and tuff coat surfacing, as well as the haul-off and disposal of removed surface materials. Protect existing splash pad features, embeds, landscaping, and surrounding area as required. Must include scarifying or grinding, and the removal of the existing surface to properly prepare for new material application. Hand grind around the vertical features and embeds as needed After removal of existing surface materials, prepare surface concrete for application of new material based on manufacture specifications. Repair any underlying substrate issues before applying the new surface. This includes but is not limited to concrete crack treatment.
