This item shall consist of providing all labor, tools, equipment, and material for furnishing, installing, and erecting an aircraft hangar on site as indicated of drawings. The items of wok include, but not limited to, the following: construction of hangar concrete foundation, purchase and erection of prefabricated metal hangar including doors and hardware, installation of electrical devices, connections of all electrical utilities and other accessories, and utility connections as shown and indicated on plans. Construction of one pre-engineered metal building and accessories for Box-hangars. Metal building shall have a gable roof and steel frame type construction and is to be a completely integrated system according to specified dimensions and as shown on plans. This project generally consists of the construction of a new 8-Unit T-Hangar at the location shown on the plans on the grounds of the Geauga County Airport. The new 8-Unit T-Hangar is approximately 58'-6" x 217'-0", and includes the installation of a restroom and storage area. Other work includes but is not limited to concrete foundation, asphalt rehabilitation to meet the finished floor of T-Hangar, and new electrical service. Portions of the work are not FAA Eligible for funding and have been identified. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or guaranty in the amount of 100% of the total amount bid or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit in an amount not less than 10% of the total amount bid, as required by R.C. 153.54. The bid bond or guaranty must be submitted as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured. The bid bond or guaranty shall be issued by an approved surety company authorized to transact business in the State of Ohio and said company shall have local representation. The bond or guaranty shall meet the satisfaction of the County Prosecutor.
