The work to be done consist of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, and incidentals as required by the Plans, Specifications, and Contract Documents for the above-stated project. The project description is as follows: The proposed street improvement project is located on Murrieta Hot Springs Road between Margarita Road and Winchester Road, approximately one and a half miles east of Interstate 215. The primary focus of the project is to widen Murrieta Hot Springs Road from four lanes to six lanes, with new traffic signals at the intersection of Murrieta Hot Springs Road and Calle Del Lago, and a signal modification at Murrieta Hot Springs Road and Via Princesa. Other improvements consist of but are not limited to: sidewalks, street light installation, water quality bmp's, landscaped and hardscaped raised medians clearing and grubbing, pavement rehabilitation, cold milling, utility coordination, signing and striping, etc. The proposed project requires the installation of drilled soldier pile retaining wall systems on both sides of Murrieta Hot Springs Road as high as fifteen feet (15') in some areas. Short planter walls are proposed in some areas where the soldier pile wall exceeds a certain height. The project also proposes to shift and realign a private street (Via Frontera) approximately six feet (6') to the north within the Ridgegate/Rhonda Association private community (located at Murrieta Hot Springs Road and Calle Del Lago) in order to accommodate the street widening of Murrieta Hot Springs Road. Utility relocations such as water, gas, electricity, lighting and irrigation also occur within the Rhonda Association community as a result of Via Frontera being shifted and realigned to the north.
