Site work for a mixed-use development in Norfolk, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified Offerors to establish a Contract through competitive negotiations for construction services related to the removal of an existing two track concrete rail crossing at Norfolk International Terminals, and to replace it with a single combination concrete and rubber rail crossing with concrete approach slabs. This work will be accomplished while Operation activities continue. The successful Offeror will be required to develop a traffic management plan that will allow the construction activities to continue while not slowing, stopping, or otherwise impeding the Operations activities.
