**As of August 26, 2025, the project is on hold. No definite date for the rebid.** The Work under this project consists of a retrofit to Meadow Lake to improve lake function and water quality and transition the lake to a DEQ Level-1 Wet Pond. The project entails the installation of a new outlet structure, in-line check valves for tidal separation, a forebay, multiple hydrodynamic separators for pollutant and litter reduction, a new parking lot, along with an extensive landscaping plan. All Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted no later than Friday, December 27, 2024 4:00 pm All Requests for Information (RFIs)shall be submitted through the Questions portal Question Submission Deadline:February 7, 2025, 4:00pm A Bid Bond, certified check, or cashier's check made payable to the Treasurer, City of Norfolk, for five percent (5%) of total bid must accompany each bid. Offerors shall upload a copy of the bid guarantee with the Offeror's acknowledgement to mail the original sealed document to the Owner, within two (2) business days. State Contractor registration class and number is required by electronic bidding via the Vendor Questionnaire. The City reserves the right to cancel the bid opening or to reject any or all bids in whole or part, when it is in the best interest of the City. The right to waive informalities and to determine responsiveness of any bid and responsibility of all bidders is reserved to the City. Withdrawal of bids will be in accordance with Section 33.1-42.1 of the Norfolk City Code and Section 11-54 of The Code of Virginia, 1950 (as amended).
