The Work Shall Include All Labor, Materials, Transportation, and Equipment Required for the Construction of: Concrete Repair, Roadway Milling And Asphalt Concrete Overlay The undersigned, having carefully examined the documents for concrete pavement repair, milling and paving located on the Fort Calhoun West, Road 32 Project located in Sections 8, 9, 10 & 11-T17N-R12E, Latitude 41 27' 34" N, Longitude 96 03' 00" W, in Washington County, Nebraska, and any other work that may be incidental thereto, hereby propose to furnish all labor, transportation, materials, and equipment required for the work at the following unit prices. It is understood that if we are awarded the Contract for this work, the Contract will be of the lump sum type subject to payment within 60 days from date of notice to the parties of work completed, and such lump sum will be computed by multiplying the quantities shown by the unit prices proposed Proposals Must Be Signed and Submitted on the Forms Furnished With the Bid Documents. Each Bidder Will Be Required to Submit With Their Proposal a Bid Bond or Certified Check Made Payable, Without Condition, to the County Treasurer of Washington County, Nebraska, in an Amount Equal to Five (5) Percent of Their Proposal. The Bidder to Whom the Contract Is Awarded Shall Furnish Within Ten (10) Days After the Award a Surety Bond or Bonds in a Sum Equal to the Full Amount of the Contract. The Form of the Bonds And Surety Shall Be Acceptable to The Washington County Board of Supervisors. The Bidder Will Include an Estimated Time of Beginning and Completion for the Project With The Proposal. The Contractor Will Be Allowed 40 Calendar Days for Completion of the Project. The Required Final Completion Date is June 30, 2025. The Washington County Board of Supervisors Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids to Pass Upon the Regularity, and to Waive Any Irregularities. Awarding of the Contract Will Be in Accordance With the Eleven Points Enumerated Under "Competitive Bidding; Consideration", County Purchasing Act, N.r.s. Sections 23-3101 Through 23-3114 and Any Competitive Bidding Requirements of Nebraska Statutes 16-321, Et. Seq., and the Washington County Board of Supervisors Will, at Their Discretion, Award Based on the Lowest or Best Bid. Washington County is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
