The City of Las Vegas (Owner) hereby invites qualified firms or individuals (Bidders) to submit Bids for Annual Slurry Seal. Estimate: $5,500,000 to $6,500,000 Question Cut Off Date: 1/7/2025 08:30 PM (ET) All questions regarding this ITB must be directed to the Purchasing & Contracts Representative Technical questions about use of the electronically should be directed to Purchasing & Contracts at 702-229-6231 or to the Purchasing & Contracts Representative Bidders shall submit the Bid Security with the Bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid pledging that the Bidder will within three (3) business days after issuance of a Notice of Award execute the Owner-Contractor Agreement as required by ITB 9.1 and furnish the required bonds and insurance required by ITB 9.2. Prior to any consideration of the Protest, the Protester must post a security (the "Protest Security") in the form of a bond, cashier's check, certified check or money order made payable to the City. If the Protester elects to post a bond, it must be from a good and solvent surety authorized to do business in the State of Nevada, which surety is acceptable to the City. The amount of the Protest Security shall be in the amount of (i) 25% of the total value of the Protester's bid amount, or (ii) $250,000, whichever is less. Within three (3) business days after issuance of the Notice of Award, the Bidder who has been awarded the Contract shall furnish to the Owner (i) the Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond and the Guaranty Bond, attached, required under Section 7.01 of the General Conditions to the Owner-Contractor Agreement, (ii) a completed certificate of insurance evidencing the procurement of the insurance coverages required under Section 8 of the General Conditions to the Owner-Contractor Agreement and (iii) an endorsement naming the Owner as an additional insured party as required under Section 8.02 of the General Conditions to the Owner-Contractor Agreement. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
