The City of University City, Missouri will receive bids for the provision of providing services for tub grinding of tree debris within the City of University City, Missouri. Contractor shall perform wood tub grinding and/or removal services, and lawful disposal of chips and debris off site, at the following locations: Heman Park University City, MO 63130 Contact Person: Patricia Reuter at preuter@ucitymo.org Special Needs: If you have a special need addressed by the Americans with Disabilities Act, please email Purchasing at preuter@ucitymo..org, at least five working days prior to the bid opening. The contractor agrees not to discriminate on the grounds or because of race, creed, color, natural origin or ancestry and religion or lack thereof, against any employee or applicant for employment with said contractor. The contractor agrees to include a similar provision to the above in all sub-contracts let or awarded under this contract. Work must be scheduled and completed within 30 days of award of contract. depending on weather conditions. The City of University City hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE) will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. A 5% security in the form of cash, a cashier's or certified check or an acceptable bid bond must accompany each bid. The City of University City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City.
