Site work and renovation of a civil project in Williston, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment and labor for the construction of: Improvements at Elko Street Well include replacement of the vertical turbine motor, well pump evaluation, variable frequency drive and control panel, chemical system upgrades, generator, building rehabilitation, conditioning electrical room, fascia and vented soffit carpentry, and appurtenances. Improvements at the State Street Well include replacement of the vertical turbine motor, well evaluation, water testing, variable frequency drive and control panel, conditioning well house, control valves, meter, filtration system, canopy, concrete, piping, site grading, generator, and appurtenances. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. Time allotted for completion of State Street Well Evaluation and Groundwater Testing is 45 days. Time allotted for the total project is 330 consecutive days. Proposals for the complete work in one general contract shall be made on the proposal forms provided and shall contain prices in words and figures for the work bid on. The project is proposed to be funded with South Carolina Infrastructure Investment Program. All applicable state and federal requirements identified in the bid documents apply. No submitted bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of 90 days. All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond drawn in favor of the Town of Williston, in the amount of at least 5% of the lump sum bid for the complete work; such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded the contract, will promptly enter into a contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bond as provided by law and approved by the Attorney for the Town of Williston. Each bond shall be equal to 100% of the contract amount. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the Town of Williston as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within 10 days after being notified that he has been awarded the contract.
