The project for which Bids are being accepted consists of the removal of the existing asphalt path and replacement with Portland cement concrete within South Ridge Park. Work includes accessibility improvements, bench pads, erosion control, and an on-street ADA parking space. The Urbana Park District will accept sealed bids for South Ridge Park Pedestrian Path Improvements The Urbana Park District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive technicalities and irregularities. Est. Completion Date: June 1, 2025 Site Address: 3008 S. Myra Ridge Dr. (South Ridge Park Bids will be accepted in strict accordance with instructions to bidders in the Specifications. All Contracts for the Construction of Public Works are subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12) . The Urbana Park District encourages 1) "minority" business firms to submit bids on the project and 2) successful contract bidders to utilize minority businesses as sub-contractors for supplies, services, and construction.
