Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Urbana, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The scope of work provides for renovating the parking lots of the Urbana Armory. A. Prequalification. Bidders must be prequalified with CDB; allow 45 days for application processing. The project site is located at the Urbana National Guard Facility at an address of 600 East University Avenue in Urbana, Illinois. The proposed project is anticipated to include construction of additional paved POV parking areas as well as reconstruction/rehabilitation of existing POV parking. We anticipate the newly constructed pavement will be comprised of Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) pavement. Work includes reconstruction of the northwest asphalt parking lot that includes 69 parking stalls, the following will be required: removal of existing asphalt pavement and base material, installation of proposed soil and sedimentation control items, pavement base and concrete pavement. Reallocating existing concrete pavement from its current use to parking. Removal of grass area between the walk and drive lane and replacing with concrete pavement for parking.
