Remodeling and renovation of a military facility in Bremerton, Washington. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.
SOW: This task order is to repair cracked and spalling concrete on inner caisson sill so that a watertight seal is made when caisson is in place. Additionally, a repair is required of approximately 15 feet of cracked and loose concrete on the horizontal altar surface, directly below Service Gallery 2W. All work must be coordinated with on-going operations in the immediate area, in and around Dry Dock 5 (705). The contractor shall coordinate all laydown areas and access with the government representative. Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) for all labor, materials, equipment and associated costs related to repair Caisson Seat and Apron, 705, PSNS, Bremerton, WA PPIs shall be submitted via email to ronald.j.lauster4.civ@us.navy.mil and a copy to cynthia.m.elmstrom.civ@us.navy.mil Questions shall be clearly stated, and include the solicitation, specification, or drawing reference and provided in MS EXCEL format. PPIs will be accepted up to five (5) business days following the site visit. Responses to all PPIs received by the cut-off date will be published via amendment to the solicitation. Submission of BAVR Tracking Form, Enclosure (03), Foreign Interest Determination (04), via email to darlene.s.hall5.ctr@us.navy.mil at least 8-10 business days prior to the scheduled site visit. Submission of Electronic BAVR Form is not required for PSNS & IMF CIA access as the emailed paper forms are required. In order to gain access to PSNS & IMF CIA. Transportation to the job site walk will not be provided. Site visit badging is limited to one day. If the site visit requires two days of visitation, two separate requests shall be submitted. Requests submitted with more than one day requested shall be rejected for correction. All offerors planning to attend the site walk must have appropriate badging; see the following paragraphs for more details. This site visit is not mandatory. Therefore, it cannot be a direct charge to the Government. All information obtained at the facility is to be considered unofficial and will not change the RFP requirements unless amended by the Contracting Officer. The contractor shall not engage in any form of contact with any installation personnel regarding this requirement either after the site visit or prior to the submission of proposals. All communication regarding the requirements set forth in this RFP shall only occur with the Contracting Officer. Discussions or information obtained via other sources could make you ineligible for award if deemed a Conflict of Interest or a violation of the Procurement Integrity Act. The contractor shall provide, labor, materials, and equipment, as required, to accomplish the following work in accordance with the basic contract requirements, incorporated clauses, included drawings, enclosures, references and statements herein: This task order is to repair cracked and spalling concrete on inner caisson sill so that a watertight seal is made when caisson is in place. The contractor will contact the government representative within 14 days after award to coordinate submittals and to discuss pre-construction meeting scheduling. All required submittals must be received/accepted by the government prior to the meeting. A pre-construction meeting agenda will be provided by separate correspondence. The Period of Performance shall be 150 days after award.
