Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Superior, Wisconsin. Conceptual plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The City of Superior, Wisconsin, is seeking proposals with qualifications from firms for the engineering services for the Barker's Island Bridge Construction project. This project consists of reconstructing the Barkers Island Causeway bridge and surrounding road, sidewalk and approach. The project is funded by the State of Wisconsin STP Urban program and is subject to state and federal guidelines. All prospective bidders/respondents are hereby notified to contact only members of the City of Superior Staff as identified within the bidding documents. The City of Superior reserves the right to reject any or all bids/proposals, to waive irregularities, or to accept such bids/proposals, as in the opinion of the City, will be in its best interests. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, Minority-Owned, and Woman-Owned Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. The City of Superior is an equal opportunity employer.
