The City of Painesville is seeking qualified professionals to prepare an updated Comprehensive Plan to address the citys changes over the past two decades and to guide future decisions in regard to improvements and development of all wards within the City. The Comprehensive Plan update is intended to provide a vision for the future of the community, along with the steps that are needed to make the vision reality. The updated plan will address the following: Existing and future land uses Design elements for future development Demographics Public Facilities/Utilities, Recreation Environmental Conditions Pedestrian realm Open space Policy implementation Transportation Infrastructure Community Engagement Economic Development Housing Suggested changes to the UDC based on plan recommendations The updated Comprehensive Plan will provide a goal driven framework that is to be adhered to within the city through objectives and priorities. The final updated plan will include illustrative plans, architectural plans, thoroughfare plans and data graphics to support these plans. Submittal requirements include a description of the project team, statement of understanding, scope of work, relevant examples of pervious work, proposed scheduled and budget.
