Contract(S) Being Bid Separate Bids, Which Will Comply With the Bidding Documents, Will Be Received for the Following Scopes of Work: Dover Middle / High School Revitalization General Construction. The Board of Education of the Dover Union Free School District Invites the Submission of Separate Sealed Bid Proposals for the Dover Middle/high School Revitalization Capital Improvement Project. Work Shall Consist of: General Building Improvement Work as Identified Within the Project Documents. Each Contract Shall Be Completed by the Following Dates by December 12th, 2025. Manner of Bids Submitted: Bids Shall Be Made on Standard Proposal Forms Furnished in the Bid Documents in the Manner Designated There, and Required by the Specifications, Shall Be Enclosed in Sealed Envelopes, Clearly Marked on the Outside With the Following Information: 1. Bid Proposal for Dover Middle / High School Building Revitalization Improvements, Contract No. _____. 2. The Name of the Owner; 3. The Name and Address of the Bidder; the Contract Number(S) and Branch(Es) of Work, as Identified Above for Which the Bid is Submitted, Must Be Accompanied by the Following in Duplicate: (One Original/one Copy). 1. Bid Form. 2. A Non-collusion Affidavit. 3. Certificate of Registration by the Nys Dol for the Prime Contractor. Applicable Law Governing Public School Construction the Requirements of New York State Labor Law, Article 8 (Section 220-223) and Article 9 (Section 230-239). No Bid May Be Withdrawn for a Period of Forty-five (45) Days After the Date Set for the Opening Except With the Express Written Approval of the Owner. Owner's Disclaimer/owner's Discretion to Accept or Reject Bids: the Owner Assumes No Responsibility, Whatsoever, in Connection With Any Defects Arising Out of the Bidding Documents or the Receipt or Failure to Receive Bids, Including Those Which May Arise Form Delay for Any Reason, in Obtaining or Submitting the Bidding Documents, Including but Not Limited to, Traffic Delay, Messengering, Mis-labeling, Mis-directions From Any Source, Mis-delivery, or Otherwise. Any Bid, Which Does Not Fulfill the Material Requirements of the Bidding Documents Will Be Rejected. When It is in Its Best Interest to Do So, the Owner May Award the Contract in Whole or in Part, Select Any Combination of Bids, or May Waive Any Informalities in or Reject Any or All Bids. Bidders Will Be Furnished a Full and Complete Copy of the Plans and Specifications by the Assistant Superintendent for Business Affairs at the Dover Middle / High School, 2368 Route 22, Dover Plains, Ny 12522, Upon Proper Presentation All questions and clarification requests on the bid documents are to be submitted in writing to Rennia Engineering Design via the email address ctaft@renniadesign.com. Such questions and clarification requests shall be submitted by 2pm on January 17 th , 2024. Verbal questions will not be accepted.
