This Contract Provides for the Reconstruction of Approximately 900 Lf of Central Avenue, From Fir Street to Cedar Street Including, but Not Limited to, Excavation, Grading, Crushed Surfacing Materials, Hot Mix Asphalt, Storm Drainage Facilities, Cement Concrete Curb, and Gutter, Sidewalk, Pavement Markings, Surface Restoration, Utility Adjustments, Sewer Main Replacement in Central Avenue and Adjacent Alleys, and Other Work All in Accordance With the Attached Contract Plans, These Special Provisions and the Standard Specifications. The Work Shall Be Substantially Complete Within 75 Working Days After the Commencement Date Stated in the Notice to Proceed. All Bidding and Construction is to Be Performed in Compliance With the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for This Project and Any Addenda Issued Thereto That Are on File at the Office of the City of Omak City Clerk, City Hall, Omak, Washington. Engineer's Estimate $1,500,000 to $1,700,000 The Proposals Will Be Publicly Opened and Read Aloud Shortly After the Time and Date Stated Above. Proposals Are to Be Submitted Only on the Form Provided With the Bid Documents. All Proposals Must Be Accompanied by a Certified Check, Postal Money Order, Cashiers Check, or Proposal Bond Payable to the city of Omak and in an Amount of Not Less Than Five Percent (5%) of the Total Proposal Amount. Financing of the Project Has Been Provided by City of Omak, Washington and the Washington State Transportation Improvement Board. The City of Omak Expressly Reserves the Right to Reject Any or All Proposals and to Waive Minor Irregularities or Informalities in Any Proposal. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
