Contract #02J - Painting and Signage K. Contract #02K - Demolition Description: The Hammond Sportsplex Addition consists of a new 26,130 sq. ft addition to the existing sports facility. The existing soccer fields will be demolished and replaced with 8 (eight) volleyball courts that are convertible to 4 (four) basketball courts once soccer is established in the addition. The renovation of the existing soccer field area will include the build out of new changing rooms, offices, storage and a concession stand. These new rooms will be covered by a viewing platform that will tie the existing walking track together. The new sand volleyball courts will be North of existing site parking to the West of the Sportsplex Building. All work for the complete construction of the project will be under multiple prime contracts with the owner based on bids received and on combinations awarded. The construction manager will manage the construction of the project. This project will be a FEDERALLY FINANCED COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT. All rules and regulations governing such projects will be applicable.
