All bids shall be received before the said opening time in sealed envelopes with SEWER LIINIG PROJECT - 2025 marked plainly thereon. All bids shall be accompanied by a deposit in the form of a postal money order, cashiers check, or bond in an amount equal to 5 percent ofthe maximum total amount of the bid. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract or furnish a satisfactory contract bond within the time stated in the specifications, the deposit shall be forfeited to the City. All bidders shall call 509-754-4601 ext. 139 prior to bid opening to sign up as a bidder on the project, whether they request a hard copy or obtain a digital copy of the specifications. Bids received from bidders who are not signed in as a bidder on the project will be rejected for being non-responsive. Contact person: Shawn OBrien, PE PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project includes cleaning and tv-ing concrete sewer mains between 8 and 18 inches in diameter and installing a CIPP liner in the best candidates chosen from the inspected lines. Estimated Project Cost: $1,000,000 The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids if such an action is in the best interest of the City.
