This Request for Supplier Qualifications ("RFSQ") is an invitation by Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation ("HHSC") to prospective respondents to qualify in accordance with Evaluation of Responses (Part 2) for eligibility to provide Asbestos Abatement and Hazardous Materials Remediation Services The intent of this RFSQ is to obtain services for asbestos abatement, mold, hazardous material remediation, repairs, and clean up at all HHSC sites, most specifically at McMaster University Medical Centre ("MUMC") on an as needed, on-going basis, and emergency situations. The scope of work will also include any project specific work before, during, or after construction/renovations at the hospital sites. HHSC personnel perform regular inspections of asbestos-containing materials throughout all the hospital sites. When damages to asbestos-containing materials are reported, work orders are issued for asbestos clean up. In some cases, as per specific project needs or emergency situations, asbestos abatement is also required. MUMC is the primary site for the above services requiring on-going abatement and remediation, however other HHSC sites and McMaster University will also require similar services on an as, if, required basis. HHSC intends to develop a roster of three (3) pre-qualified respondents (Vendor of Record or "VOR") which will be utilized as required to meet the needs of the organization. The roster of pre-qualified respondents VOR is limited to asbestos abatement and hazardous materials remediation services not exceeding $500,000 CAD. Where a project differs significantly from the Deliverables as described herein, HHSC reserves the right to utilize a different procurement process and different respondents. This RFSQ is issued solely for the purpose of obtaining proposals and developing a VOR. Neither the issuance of this RFSQ nor the submission of a proposal implies any obligation by HHSC to enter into any agreement. The intent of this RFSQ is to identify those respondents capable of meeting HHSC's requirements and whom a final agreement may be negotiated.
