This project was awarded to AVERTEX Utility Solutions Inc in the amount of $998,454.37 The City of Hamilton will only be accepting bid submissions from general contractors that were pre-qualified through pre-qualification process C14-04-25 General Contractors for Bernie Arbour Memorial Stadium Sport Lighting Replacement. The prequalified General Contractors for this Project (shown alphabetically) are: 1. Avertex Utility Solutions Inc. 2. Fairway Electrical Services Incorporated The Work to be undertaken for this Contract includes but may not be limited to: - Removal of existing sport light poles, concrete footings, and fixtures around the baseball diamond,- - Removal of existing electrical system within the facility building specific to the existing sports field lighting and scoreboard, - Supply and installation of pre-cast concrete structure/building and granular base on-site to house the new electrical system and controls for the proposed sports lighting, - Trenching, supply, and installation of new conduit and wiring from existing transformer on-site to proposed pre-cast concrete structure and proposed sport lights, - Supply and installation of electrical system and controls for sports lighting and existing scoreboard, - Supply and installation of new sport light poles and LED fixtures following proposed design standards and specifications, with consideration of the existing shallow bedrock conditions below, - Restoration of various hard and soft surfaces after completion of construction. - Provisional Item: Supply and installation of new pedestrian area lighting adjacent to the west side of the spectator stands and washrooms as detailed in the Appendices.
