Dillon School District Four is seeking proposals to engage a contractor to submit proposals for the cabling of a new building wing. The Service Provider must be able to offer E-Rate discounts. Proposals must include all necessary components including, but not limited to: equipment racks, digital equipment, data cabling, and associated termination equipment as required. The Respondent's RFP response must include the necessary labor and other associated services to develop the following scope and deliverables. The work under this section includes all final design, material, equipment, supplies, labor, testing, and accessories required for cabling network infrastructure. Proposals should include: Fiber/Data cabling will be run to the specified location. Cabling will be terminated in the specified telecommunications closet(s), end device, and faceplate. The vendor shall provide patch panels and rack/cabinet as specified. The vendor must label all terminations in accordance with the district's labeling standards. Site Location Dillon Elementary School 1663 Bunker Hill Road Dillon, SC 29536 REQUIRED BID SECURITY: Each bid must be submitted with security in an amount equal to 10% of the maximum bid, in one of the following forms: (i) a cashier's or certified check payable to the District; or (ii) a bid bond. The security must be submitted with a completed copy of the "Bid Security" form included as one of the Required Bidding Forms. Each bid bond must be an executed copy of the "Bid Bond" form included as one of the Required Bidding Forms Unless forfeited, the District will return security to the bidders within a reasonable time, but notmore than sixty days after award of the Contract for the Work. The District also reserves the right to award a partial contract in the event that they deem it in the District's best interest. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or sections thereof when the rejection is in the District's best interest. The District also reserves the right to award without further discussion. The District reserves the right to reject the proposal of a prospective vendor who has previously failed to perform properly or failed to complete on-time contracts of similar nature. The District reserves the right to reject the proposal of any prospective vendor who, in the opinion of the district, is not in a position to adequately perform the requirements of the contract.
