Reference number: 20040316 Deadline for receipt of complaints; 2025-01-21 The OMHM is issuing a public call for tenders for the refurbishment of a residential building at Habitations Barclay, 4720-4730 avenue Barclay, Montréal, H3W 1C7, Borough: Côte-des-Neiges-Notre-Dame-de-Grâce. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, decontamination of units and common areas, interior stripping of the entire building, replacement of all electromechanical and fire alarm components, replacement of roofing, balconies, insulation, masonry, doors and windows, and complete refurbishment of units and common areas. Rehabilitation of the grounds, exterior landscaping and retaining wall behind 4720-4730 Barclay and the adjacent building (owned by OMHM) at 4680-4700 Barclay. The work will be carried out in a 3-storey wood-frame building built in the early 1950s for families. It houses 13 units (3x1cc, 6x2cc and 4x3cc), a community room in the basement, as well as laundry, janitorial and storage space for tenants. A parking garage is also located in the basement. During construction, the units will be vacant. The work must be carried out within a maximum of 250 working days from the date confirmed for the start of work in the letter of commitment.
