POSTED this Thursday, January 9, 2025 on the bulletin board at the City of Rockport, located at 2751 S.H. 35 Bypass, Rockport, TX 78382, Aransas County and on the City of Rockport webpage online Pools Surface Renovation: o Replaster the pool with a commercial white quartz with blue flake finish. o Install new toe tiles at the stairways o Install new Floor Suction Outlet Fitting Assemblies (drain covers). o Clean the skimmer gutter of rust and scale. o Refinish the skimmer grating and replace 1 broken section. o Provide startup procedure for plaster per the National Plaster Council guidelines. o Provide minimum 10-year warranty on plaster adhesion. Pool Lighting: o Install white, 600 watt, low voltage LED lighting. o Install transformers for the pool lights o Ensure proper bonding and grounding per National Electric Code. o Provide manufacturer minimum 2 year warranty. Pool Filtration System: o Demolish and remove the existing filters and piping system in front of the filters. o Install (2) new 71" pool filters (55 sqft filter area). 10 year warranty on pool shell. o Reconstruct a 4-valve manifold in front of the filters using 8" sch80 piping and valves rated for pool usage. o The return line of the filtration piping shall be replaced, the heater loop will be re-piped with sch80 cpvc piping. o Construct a new pipe support system using stainless steel strut and strapping. Pool Pump Repairs: o Replace the suction valves and move them as far from the pumps as is practical. o Keep the current pump model and replace the damaged pump volutes. o Install new impellers, and seals on the pumps. o Install Variable Frequency Drives on the pumps. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
