Renovation of a municipal facility in Madison, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Intrusion and Fire Alarms -The City of Madison Parking and Traffic Engineering ("City") is soliciting Bids from qualified vendors for Intrusion and Fire Alarms. Vendors submitting Bids ("Bidders") are required to read this Request for Bids ("RFB") in its entirety . Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned, and Small Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. Location- Capitol Square North - 218 E. Mifflin St. South Livingston Street - 111 S. Livingston St. Overture Center - 318 W. Mifflin St. State Street Capitol - 200 N. Carroll St. State Street Campus - 430 N. Frances St. Wilson Street - 20 E. Wilson St. Sayle Street - 1120 Sayle St. Lake St. Garage - 415 N. Lake St Scope of Services The City is requesting three parts for this RFB. 1) Converting all lines to VOIP and/or Cellular. The needed updates are listed in Form D2. 2) Fire Alarm Inspections: The chosen vendor will provide Annual Fire Inspections testing and inspecting fire alarm control panel, smokes detectors, manual pull stations and heat detectors. 3) Monitoring for the following services at each facility as applicable. Please see Appendix C for more details: (a) Fire Alarm Monitoring Vendor will monitor fire alarm for trouble/supervisory/alarm, and as appropriate, immediately notify the owner (trouble/supervisory) or dispatch the Fire Department (alarm). (b) Area of Refuge Phone Monitoring: The vendor will monitor the Area of Refuge phones. If an Area of Refuge phone calls the vendor, they will dispatch the Fire Department. (c) Elevator Monitoring: Vendor will monitor the emergency call buttons in the elevator and will dispatch the Fire Department. (d) Burglar Alarm Monitoring Vendor will provide remote intrusion alarm monitoring services for the burglar alarm systems in the associated buildings ("Facilities.") Vendor will provide: an appropriate notification and communicated response to all alarms received from the Facility's alarm system, processing of all system trouble signals received and processing a monthly electronic-formatted test of the burglar alarm system communication circuit. Vendor will retain electronic record of all alarm activity, as can be provided by the systems being monitoring, for review as necessary by appropriate personnel of the owner (City of Madison, Wisconsin).
