Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Windsor, Ontario. Completed plans call for the construction of a 13,400-square-foot, three-story above grade educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.

The scope of services to be provided by the Successful Proponent will include but limited to: The construction of a Student Residence 3 Storey 3D printed building of approximately 1,250 sm (13,400 sf) starting in early March 2025 and be completed by early December 2025 for occupancy in early January 2026. This project will have Printerra 3D Construction Printing from Markham, Ontario as the sub-trade to be contracted to the successful General Contractor to complete the entire concrete structure of walls, precast planks, concrete ground floor slab on grade, and floor and roof concrete toppings for a stipulated price of approximately $1.6M as outlined in the specifications. The General Contractor and associated subcontractors will be responsible for the completion of the building including as detailed and as shown in the Procurement Tender Package (Division 00- Procurement And Contracting Requirements (Contract Documents). The Proponent and each Consultant will be expected to provide the University with evidence of any and all insurance coverages as required in this RFP, including, but not limited to: Commercial General Liability Insurance against third party bodily injury (including death), personal injury and broad form property damage (including loss of use) and including products and completed operations liability and blanket contractual liability for an amount of not less than two million ($2,000,000) dollars per occurrence; Other types of insurance a prudent person would carry as the University may from time to time require, having regard for the nature of work and its location including Cyber liability Insurance.
