Through this request for qualification (RFQ), notice is hereby given that the City of Durham, North Carolina, General Services Department, is seeking a consulting firm to provide Design Services for Civil Engineering, Surveying, and Geotechnical Engineering. Garrett Road Park is a 7.64-acre park located at 6815 Garrett Road in Durham. The restroom facility located within the park is no longer in service due to the sand filter system failure on the existing septic system. Repairs to the sand filtration system are infeasible due to the inability of the system to percolate. The project will provide a sanitary sewer connection from the existing public restroom facilities located in Garrett Road Park to a proposed connection point to the sanitary sewer located on Hope Valley Road, approximately 750 feet south of the restroom facilities. The restroom facility contains four (4) toilets and four (4) sinks. Notice to Proceed February 2025 Project Completion Spring 2026 Any questions regarding this RFQ must be received in writing prior to 12/19/2024 by 3:00pm.
