Through this request for qualification (RFQ), notice is hereby given that the City of Durham, North Carolina, General Services Department, is seeking a consulting firm to provide Architectural Services. BACKGROUND AND SCOPE OF SERVICES Solite Park is located at 4704 Fayetteville Road with access to the American Tobacco Trail and greenway. Solite Park has a half basketball court that allows a group of youths to play basketball half the size of a full-size basketball court. The purpose of the project is to convert a half-court to a full-size basketball court. Architectural services for the preparation of design documents and project specifications, bid documents and construction administration for the Solite Park replacement of a half basketball court to a fullsize basketball court. Any questions regarding this RFQ must be received in writing prior to 1/21/2025 by 3:00pm EST. Questions received after this date may not receive response. Questions should be directed to Lisa Smith at lisa.smith@durhamnc.gov and will be answered in an addendum posted on the City's website at online. PROJECT BUDGET The Rough Order of Magnitude for this project is: $165,000.00. Project Completion December 2025. The City of Durham reserves the right to reject any and all submittals.
