Project Description: The intent of this Design-Build Request for Proposal (DB RFP) includes design and construction services for a new one-story, prefabricated, modular constructed, Pass and Tag Building, located on Naval Air Station Kingsville (NASK), in Kingsville, Texas. The prefabricated, modular building will be located under the existing Vehicle Commercial Inspection Building 5715A (B5715A). The proposed project includes construction of a new 500 to 800-gross square foot (GSF), one-story building, and associated site work, and incidental related work. The building will serve as a Visitor Control Center (VCC) to process and issue visitor and contractor passes via the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS). Provide design and construction services for BASE and OPTIONS OFFERS as detailed in Part 2, Specification section 00 22 13.00 20, and herein please refer to RFP page 218 for full breakdown of Clins. If only CLIN 0002 (OPTION NO. 0001) is awarded at the same time as CLIN 0001 (BASE OFFER) award, the contract duration, including design and construction services, will be extended by 90-calendar days, If only CLIN 0003 (OPTION NO. 0002) is awarded at the same time as CLIN 0001 (BASE OFFER) award, the contract duration, including design and construction services, will be extended by 90-calendar days, If only CLIN 0004 (OPTION NO. 0003) No extra days,If OPTION OFFERS (CLINs 0002, 0003, and 0004) are all awarded at the same time as CLIN 0001 (BASE OFFER) award, the contract duration, including design and construction services, will be extended by 120-calendar days.
