The City of Kingsville will receive separate bids for Bid #25-11 (GLO SW PROJECT 3 (E. CAESAR AVE.) STORM WATER IMPROVEMENTS (CDBG-MIT CONTRACT NO. 22-085-009-D237)) Bid #25-12 (GLO SW PROJECT 5 (E. CAESAR AVE.) STORM WATER IMPROVEMENTS (CDBG-MIT CONTRACT NO. 22-085-009-D237)) Bid #25-13 (GLO SW PROJECT 10 (N. ARMSTRONG ST.) STORM WATER IMPROVEMENTS (CDBG-MIT CONTRACT NO. 22-085-009-D237)) at (400 W. King Ave., Kingsville, Tx 78363). A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid [for those contracts that exceed $100,000]. A certified check or bank draft payable to the (City of Kingsville) or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. Adherence to the (City of Kingsville) Section 3 Policy is required for all contracts. All contractors and subcontractors must be cleared (not suspended or debarred) prior to any formal action authorizing the award of a contract to the contractor. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit bids. The (City of Kingsville) reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by (City of Kingsville) for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
